My imagery derives from my experience in a digitally connected society while attempting to reconcile a more analog relationship to nature and its representations. While distanced from the sensibilities of landscape, I pursue unexpected moments of exploration still within the natural subject. This sense of discovery extends to an examination of internet aesthetic and modes of perception in a digital sphere.

As part of this art practice I examine my cultural identity and its relation to both nature and technology. By deconstructing these relationships I create new avenues to enter into and navigate between their associated signifiers. In this state, networks of interweaving systems unravel. The resulting vantage point offers new perspectives to experience contemporary culture.
